The Call for Wailing Women

In Jeremiah 9:17, the Lord speaks through the prophet Jeremiah, instructing him to summon the wailing women—those who possess skill and expertise in the art of mourning. These women were renowned for their ability to lament appropriately, expressing deep sorrow at crucial moments.

A Timely Invitation

Today, the call for wailing women resonates once more. God is urging women to rise up and cry out on behalf of our families, children, communities, nation, and the world. Now is the time to be actively involved in spiritual battle, advocating for and interceding on behalf of those around us.

Learning from Uncommon Women of the Bible

This year, we will draw inspiration from the lives of uncommon women in the Bible. Through their examples, we will discover how women can continue to wage war in faith and prayer. We are women engaged in a fight, steadfast and enthralled in the struggle for righteousness and healing.
